Pinic In The Park at the Patapsco Female Institute

Friends of the Patapsco Female Institute, Neighbor

Pack a picnic lunch and join the Friends of the Patapsco Female Institute for Picnic in the Park, An Afternoon of Victorian Sports & Leisure at the Patapsco Female Institute on September 22 from 12-3pm.

Costume try-ons, kid-friendly crafts and activities (badminton, croquet, hoops, and much more), historic exhibits on Institute attendees, and hands-on archeology.  Brief site tours begin at 12:30pm. 

Admission, parking, and shuttle are all FREE.  The shuttle, leaving regularly from the Circuit Court House parking lot (near Mt. Ida) up to the park, is courtesy of Howard County Dept. of Recreation and Parks.  Volunteer opportunities are also available!
