Maureen O'Donnell, Neighbor

Maureen is a long time resident of Howard County and still enjoys living in the Columbia area.  She received her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2004.  

Since then, she has gone on to pursue a graduate degree in molecular medicine from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she authored a health and fitness column for several editions of the student-run Campus Connection.  

When she's not immersed in science, Maureen likes to run, swim, cook, and write.  She's thrilled to combine some of those interests in her column, and looks forward to contributing to Columbia Patch.
