Kathleen Kelly Swanson JD, Director of Resource Development began her current position in mid-2010 at The Arc from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, where she was Coordinator for Planning and Council Services. She is also an Adjunct Professor in Leadership Ethics at the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University. In the past, Kathy volunteered with The Arc’s Governmental Affairs, Chocolate Ball Silent Auction and Strategic Plan Committees. She served on the board from 1996 to 2005. Kathy’s husband of 31 years, Phil, has been a member of The Arc’s Board of Directors and their son Ryan is supported by The Arc. Their youngest son, Matthew, lives in Minneapolis where he is employed by Procter and Gamble.
