Residents, Administration Meet to Discuss Parking
In light of the Historic District's new parking arrangements, the county has agreed to meet with residents to see how they fit in.
The administration is meeting with residents of the Historic District this evening to discuss residential parking is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today at St. Paul's Church. The meeting, initially scheduled for Mon., Oct. 29, was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. On the agenda is residential parking in the Historic District. The County is implementing a new parking program which includes Streetline, Inc.'s Parker, a mobile phone application that shows the user where available spots are in the Historic District, and the addition of multi-space parking meters on Main Street and Maryland Ave. When the new parking program was announced on Aug. 21, there was no mention of a residential parking plan.
