To call this restaurant a café is misleading because of its sheer size and extensive menu. When I first passed Nora's, I thought it was a coffee shop with some pastries, but when I entered, I was a bit awed by how spacious and grand it was. Nora's is a café by European standards where cafes are actually restaurants that serve a full menu but also dish up excellent pastries, desserts, and coffee. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful case of pastries. Rows of trays of perfectly molded cakes and pastries are lined up one after the other: key lime, chocolate mousse, cheesecakes, amaretto cakes, fruit tarts, and an assortment of Italian cookies.
