Ellicott City Church Shooting Victims Were Pastor, Employee
One woman was shot to death, the other wounded inside St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Update 3:00 p.m. Police Friday afternoon identified the body of a man found in the woods near an Episcopal church in Ellicott City where two women were found Thursday night with gunshot wounds. Howard County Police say Douglas Franklin Jones, 56, was found dead in an area near St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with a handgun near his body. Police morning identified two of the victims in the shooting in an Ellicott City church as an Episcopal priest and a church employee. Police say Brenda Brewington, 59, of Ellicott City was found dead on the scene at St. Peter's Episcopal Church Thursday night. She is listed as an administrator on the church's website.
