Police Offer Reward in Liquor Store Robbery
Suspect was armed in July 12 robbery at Woody's Liquor in Jessup, according to police.
The Howard County Police Department is offering up to $500 for information leading to the arrest of a man who police say robbed a Jessup liquor store at gunpoint earlier this month, according to a statement the department issued Thursday. At about 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, police responded to Woody's Liquor & Bar in Jessup after a man entered the store, held up a gun and demanded money, according to the statement. Police said that after the clerk gave the armed man the money, the suspect fled into the woods behind the store, which is on the 8800 block of Washington Boulevard.
