Necklaces Stolen, Break-in Attempt Thwarted: Howard County Crime Reports

Ellicott City Residential burglary, trespassing – 3600 Fels Lane A 25-year-old Ellicott City man was arrested and charged with burglary after he was found occupying a vacant house currently owned by the county near the 3600 block of Fels Lane on the morning of Jan. 10. Police said no apparent force was used to gain entry to the residence. Residential burglary – 3100 Pine Orchard Lane Two televisions, a gaming console and video games were reported stolen from a residence on the 3100 block of Pine Orchard Ln. Police said entry was gained through an unlocked rear patio sliding window sometime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 8.
