Meet Lucky, a beautiful, young plott hound mix who needs a little luck in her life.
Hey there, Patch friends! My name is Lucky and I’m very pleased to meet you. I’m a gorgeous plott hound mix with striking, honey-brown eyes, and a vibrant dark brindle coat that really makes me stand out from the pack. I weigh about 50 pounds, but I’m just a little over a year old, so I still have some filling out and maturing to do. I’m a sweet and affectionate dog who needs some structure and leadership in my life. I’m great inside the house with my foster family and their dogs, but it takes me some time to trust new people and new situations. Hey guys, Happy New Year! I’m checking back in to let you know I’m still here, patiently waiting and longing for my new family. With your help, we saved nearly 350 dogs this year, expanded our team, added new foster families, and hopefully made folks more aware of the importance and need for dog rescue. Rescue is a community of volunteers, so we couldn’t do it without you. Whether you’ve helped by sharing our pups’ stories with your friends and family on Facebook, donating to help cover veterinary costs, fostering, or doing home visits, it all makes a difference in saving these dogs’ lives. Have you ever noticed that people like to tell you when their dog is a rescue? That’s because they know they played an important part in saving the life of a deserving animal, and have gotten an amazing companion out of it. They have every right to be proud; rescuing an animal is the right thing to do. We want folks to spread the word so that others will consider the incredible good and personal satisfaction that comes from choosing to rescue. Rescue has been around a long time, but it’s only recently become a part of our mainstream culture. Meet Murray, a young and playful collie mix who is ready to be part of your pack.
Hey guys, it’s Murray checking in! As you can see from my pictures, I’m a handsome young boy. Mutts Matter thinks I'm a smooth-coated collie mix because I have the sweet, social temperament and long, delicate snout of a collie, but my coat is short and easy to maintain. While I’m still just a puppy at only ten months old, I’m almost fully-grown and weigh 60 pounds now. I have some puppy energy in me and need my daily exercise and play time. Mostly, I’m just a loving and affectionate boy who’s good with kids and other dogs, and really love to be around my people. My foster mom, Leslie, says I’m a 60-pound lap dog. In the spirit of election season, we are asking you to rally your support around Gus, a sweet basset hound/corgi mix who has experienced some trauma in his short life, and is learning to trust people again. Gus has a heart of gold, the most soulful brown eyes, and a gentle spirit that deserves to be loved and nurtured. He is still a young pup at only a year old, and while shy around new people, he is a very loving and affectionate boy once he gets to know you. Meet Bart and Eddie, two sweet, young Poodle-mix pups ready to face the world together.
Meet Bart and Eddie, two adorable, sweet Poodle-mix pups who are a little over a year old and weigh about 15 pounds. Bart and Eddie are brothers and best buds who complement each other and have been a source of security in each other’s lives. Bart is more energetic and inquisitive, and always wants to be by your side. Eddie is more reserved and calm, but has a sense of independence about him. Both are very sweet, gentle souls in search of love and security. Bart and Eddie were rescued as part of a cruelty and neglect case, and were taken in by Animal Control when their owner was incarcerated. Thank you for the thank you. I for one want to thank Mutts Matter Rescue and Melanie for what they do for homeless dogs. I have fostered dogs for this group for one year. I have personally witnessed a well run organization with leadership that truly cares for every animal brought into it's fold.
