Slain Centennial High Grad 'Took Life the Right Way'
Reports of Stephen Alex Rane paint the picture of a gregarious, inquisitive young man with a kind streak.
The 22-year-old Centennial High School graduate who was shot and killed last week in College Park was an extrovert who “wasn’t afraid to raise his hand,” the University of Maryland student newspaper, the Diamondback, reported. Stephen Alex Rane was a senior at the University of Maryland, where he studied English and linguistics. Police say he was shot and killed by his roommate, 23-year-old Dayvone Maurice Green, last week. According to his obituary, Rane was born in Lafayette, Ind. in 1990.
