Six Arrested in Ellicott City at DUI Checkpoint
Police say five were arrested for driving under the influence.
Five drivers were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in a Howard County Police DUI checkpoint in Ellicott City on the weekend of Dec. 8. According to a statement from the department, nearly 650 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, on Route 40 westbound at the intersection of Governors Run Way in Ellicott City on the night of Dec. 8 and the early morning hours of Dec. 9.
