The Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum has a collection of the works of scientist and scholar Benjamin…More Banneker, who lived in Oella.
A gallery in the museum also features "An Exhibition of Maryland Community Quilts," a gift shop, patio garden and a reconstruction of Banneker's cabin.
The 142-acre park is on the grounds of the original Banneker property. It boasts a wildlife habitat, gardens nature trails and a restored 1850's era house.
