Tongue Row is a stretch of stone granite houses which, like all of Ellicott City, were owned by Ann Tongue, who rented the stone cottages to mill workers. Today, the small, eclectic houses are shops: The Little French Market Café, ScoopAHHdeedoo, Ghost Hookah Lounge and the Journey from Junk workshop. The courtyard on Tongue Row is used for special events such as the 2nd Sunday Market, Spring and Fall festival as well as Midnight Madness. To visit the various shops and boutiques, contact each store for hours. Tongue Row is located on Hamilton Street next to Main Street.
