The founder of the jewelry store, Sergio, opened his first store in Catonsville in 1984. The business expanded and in 1988, the Ellicott City branch opened its doors. Sergio holds a certification in Professional Gemology and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Maryland/ Delaware/Washington, D.C., Jewelry Association. Sergio's offers jewelry and watch repair, re-cut stones, appraisals and engraving, and will also purchase jewelry.

Posted for Cheryl Elksnis : Sergio's created a custom beautiful custom pendant for me and I love it. The center diamond was from the annivesary ring that my Dad gave my Mom for their 25th annivesary. That has been surrounded by both of their birthstones. After losing both of my parents in the last year and a half this is a special tribute to them and their love.
