Lilly Maritza Salon and Gallery in Ellicott City is the place to go if you are looking for a salon and/or a stylist for life... Ana is amazing, and I recommend her highly! I don't even tell her what I want, anymore, I just trust she is going to make me look good. Lilly has created a beautiful, comfortable salon and gallery where you not only feel well taken care of, but inspired! ♥ Also, be sure to check out the art and unique furnishings!

Lilly and her team of stylists are fabulous! Lilly always does a Fantastic job coloring and styling my hair. Julie is great when she helps with the color. Anay does an AMAZING job washing hair - mini head massage. Bonnie is always friendly and helpful at the front of the salon. The atmosphere is modern/trendy - but relaxed. The salon has a lot of Moto Art (chairs, desks, and other things are made from old airplane pieces) as well as paintings, photography, and jewelry from local artists. Very eye pleasing.

I specifically used Ana at Lilly Maritza for my wedding... where to begin. It cost $100 for my hair and make-up trial, the hair she didn't really even do and didn't curl at all... come to find out the wedding day my hair was having trouble holding the curl so the style definitely did not end up being all that I desired, and the make-up I showed her a picture of and she decided to do her version of it. I came back in for a second make-up trial because she didn't listen to me the first time and she tried to charge me another $50 for that (and she was already being paid $225 for my wedding day hair and make-up). The night before the wedding I received one of the most unprofessional e-mails I've ever read regarding costs that had changed for my bridesmaids' hair and her bringing an assistant to get everyone done. The day of the wedding she charged us $200 for traveling 40 min. to my house, her "assistant" was a 16 year old who was still in high school and obviously not certified (she also burned 2 of my girls while curling their hair, one on the forehead), and Ana again changed the cost for each bridesmaids hair (which we thought had previously been settled according to our wedding coordinator)... my make-up turned out pretty well though.
