Storms Say Goodbye to Summer: Weekend Weather

It's expected to rain Saturday, but things should clear up Sunday.

That beautiful weather we've had the past couple days in Howard County... don't expect it this weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for thunderstorms Saturday.

Showers are likely after 2 p.m. Saturday, and thunderstorms that could bring heavy rain are possible, according to NWS. The high is expected to reach 77 degrees.

Sunday will be more of the same in the morning, with a chance of showers before 8 a.m. Afterwards it should be a nice day with a high around 74 degrees and a low at night of 56. FYI - Sunday is the first day of fall.

The nice weather should continue into the workweek on Monday—NWS predicts a high of 72 and mostly sunny.
