Freezing Temperatures Expected Until Friday

The cold weather is expected to stick around at least until the weekend.

Don't expect the sunny and mild winter temperatures we experienced during the day on Monday to stick around for the rest of the week.

Freezing temperatures are expected day and night until Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Expect a bitterly cold Wednesday with wind chill values dropping to zero and a daytime high of 24 followed by a nighttime low predicted around 10 degrees.

Thursday is expected to be sunny with a high near 29 and a night time low of 20.

On Friday, we're likely to see temperatures rise above freezing, with a high of 40 predicted. At night, the air will cool to a low of 27.
