What better time to give the Gift of Independence? Neighbor Ride invites you to bring your kids along and reach out to local seniors as a volunteer driver.   Daytime, evening and weekend opportunities are available for adults looking for a flexible and truly rewarding volunteer experience.

Neighbor Ride is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to decreasing isolation and improving the quality of life for Howard County’s older residents by providing transportation for health care appointments, cultural and social activities, volunteer commitments, shopping, fitness and language classes, religious services and other personal needs.   Our volunteer drivers simply choose to provide the needed rides that fit their schedules and are convenient to their homes, offices and daily routines.  NO SET SCHEDULE IS REQUIRED.  We offer this service so local seniors, age 60 and over, can remain healthy, independent and connected to the community.

Contact Rosemary Noble or Patrice Cerwonka at (410) 884-7433 or volunteer@neighborride.org for more information.  You may also visit us on the web at www.neighborride.org.
