Family Fun this Weekend in Howard County

It's not too early to start thinking about the weekend. Here are some goings ons in Howard County.

Where/When:   Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Ellicott City

Why to go:  Enjoy a weekend of special events to celebrate CSC’s production of Pride and Prejudice. Events include speakers, games and panel discussions. Reception to follow.

Why to go:  Come join us as we explore the many waterways of the area. We meet at our kayak put in (call us for directions). Many local rivers and lakes with interesting nooks and crannies are just 30 minutes away.

Why to go:  Capacity is limited. Poets and prose writers read their work as the Little Patuxent Review celebrates its Audacity-themed summer issue, with a special performance by Brian Gilbert, Maryland’s first-place winner in Poetry Out Loud, a recitation contest for students.
