Sugarloaf Crafts Festival Celebrates American Craftsmanship in Timonium, MD

April 26-28 Show Offers a True "Made in America" Experience for Spring

More than 250 craftspeople from around the country will celebrate American craftsmanship and artistic talent at the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival in Timonium, Maryland, Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. The Festival offers a unique opportunity for collectors, shoppers and casual browsers to truly experience “made in America” as they prepare for Spring fashion, home decorating and giving one-of-a-kind gifts for Mother’s and Father’s Day, graduations and weddings.

Artists in the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival highlight the strong interest in American-made products, and represent the finest in American ingenuity and creativity. Participants in the show are jury-selected based on their original designs and the quality of their handcrafted items. A growing number of artists are also using locally-sourced materials in their one-of-a-kind work in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, wood, leather, metal, furniture, home accessories, photography and fine art.

“In addition to purchasing beautiful fine crafts at the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival, visitors have the joy and satisfaction of buying directly from the artists.” says Deann Verdier, President of Sugarloaf Craft Festivals. “The Festival celebrates the inspiration of the country’s finest artisans and gives our visitors a wonderful opportunity to support hardworking American artists.”
