PM Camp runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

AGE GROUP:  6th to 8th grade

The kids will learn how to make French and Philadelphia-style ice-cream and cookies.  Each day will be spent going through the steps of making ice-cream from making the base to chilling to spinning/churning to curing.

We will also make various mix-ins to add into our ice-cream as well as some cookies (sugar and wafer cookies) to accompany our ice-cream.  On the last day of camp (on Friday), the kids will host an ice-cream social to which parents and family members are invited.

Even though our focus during camp will be on making ice-cream and accompaniments, we will spend the last hour of each day during camp (except for Friday) making a snack to be consumed in camp. The  Snacks for the week are as follows:

Monday (4/18) - granola and yogurt parfaits

Tuesday (4/19) - cinnamon toasts

Wednesday (4/20) - pita pizzas

Thursday (4/21) - apple clouds

In addition to the snacks, we'll provide fresh fruits and bottled water for your child during camp.

Parents are free to pack an additional (nut-free) lunch for your child if you want them to have an additional meal during camp or if you do not want them to have our snacks.
