Triadelphia Ridge Introduces Retriever Run Fundraiser

The 5k will be held on April 21.

As the school celebrates its 15th year, the Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School (TRES) PTA desired a family-oriented fundraising event that promotes health and wellness and welcomes community participation: the first Retriever Run fundraiser will be held on Sunday, April 21.

"As a Howard County public school, we wanted to support the county’s Healthy Howard initiative with a fun activity for our families, staff and community," said PTA President Rebecca Gruber."

Local businesses and individuals have the chance to support our event through monetary sponsorships or donations of items for the goody bags. We think the event will bring together the local community to celebrate a healthy lifestyle.”  

All ages and abilities are encouraged to enter the 5K Race. Traffic will be re-routed during the race as the course progresses along Folly Quarter Road, Triadelphia Road and neighboring streets. Online race results will be posted at Bullseye Running following the event. The cost of the 5K Race is $25 and $30 on race day.

Individuals who register before April 7 receive an event t-shirt and all paid registrants get a goody bag. Local sports teams are encouraged to participate as a team building exercise. Pets and baby strollers will not be permitted at the event.
