Howard County Public Schools Closed Monday
School has been canceled Monday due to a winter storm.
Rejoice kids, the Howard County Public School System canceled school Monday.
The announcement was made around 5:30 a.m., as a mix of rain and sleet continued to fall in the county.
All evening activities, including athletic practices and games are also canceled.
A winter storm warning remains in effect for the county until 10 a.m. Monday.
Other school systems including Carroll County are closed, while Anne Arundle plans to open two hours late.
