This year's theme is: If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place... Shashi’s drawing is titled “Imagination Transportation.”
She writes about the picture: "So many times I sit down in a cardboard box and fly. You must admit, it would be pretty cool if our transportation was fueled by imagination, because pollution wouldn't be so bad. Plus, everyone could use a little imagination in their lives."
The winner's doodle will appear on the Google.com homepage and the student will receive a $30,000 scholarship and a $50,000 Google for Education technology grant for his or her school.
