Final Day of School in Howard County is Friday
Summer school starts next week in the Howard County Public School System.
Students from all corners of Howard County will celebrate the last day of the 2013–2014 academic year on Friday, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Mount View Middle School was the center of such an event on Thursday, when it was closed due to lack of air conditioning; the school in Marriottsville will reopen Friday, according to the Howard County Public School System. Activities that were planned to take place Thursday will take place on Friday there.
All schools will close three hours early on Friday, just as they have on Wednesday and Thursday leading up to the big last day, according to the school system.
