Readers' Choice Winner: Eggspectation

From yogurt parfait to short stacks to, of course, eggs, Patch readers said their favorite place for breakfast in Ellicott City is . 

Started in Montreal in 1993, the restaurant has since spread -- throughout Canada, India and, in 2004, in the United States with Eggspectation Restaurants, LLC. 

Of their breakfast offerings, Shara said: "Eggspectation has the best yogurt parfait with warm honey, yum! It is a bit pricey if you want to pair it with other delicious items from their breakfast menu though."

And Russel said: "I love Eggspectation when I'm feeling wealthy. Other than that I'm a huge fan of Cafe Bagel , great variety of bagels, great sandwiches and nice people working there."
