Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $425 Million, Fourth Largest Ever
The next drawing is on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
No one matched the winning numbers in the Saturday, Aug. 3, Powerball drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.
The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to $425 million. The cash payout value would be $244.7 million cash option, according to www.powerball.com.
The figure is not expected to rise before Wednesday's drawing.
That's the fourth largest jackpot in U.S. history, according to the Associated Press.
The next drawing is Wednesday, Aug. 7.
