Two Firefighters Injured in Ellicott City Fire

The firefighters suffered minor injuries; no residents were hurt.

Two firefighters have minor injuries after a fire on Diane Lane, according to Bat. Chief Gordon Wallace.

The fire was called in at about 5:12 p.m., Wallace said. The house, a single-family home, was empty at the time the call came in.

Wallace said the fire was reported out just after 6:30 p.m.

Two firefighters sustained "minor injuries" in the fire; Wallace said they will be transported to a nearby hospital shortly.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Wallace said.
