Man Stripped of Clothes in Ellicott City Robbery: Howard County Police Blotter

The following crime report information was provided by the Howard County Police Department between Dec. 31 and Jan. 7, 2014.

Clothes, cash, credit cards stolen after victim robbed in his own car

Three men forced another man into his own vehicle near the 3200 block of North Ridge Road and stole his credit cards, cash and the victim's clothing on Jan. 4 around 8 p.m.. The three suspects left the vehicle, and did not injure the man. Police did not provide suspect descriptions.

Man assaulted with handgun, robbed on Jason Lane

Two men, an acquaintance of the resident and another unknown man, entered a residence in the 10500 block of Jason Lane around 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 31. The unknown man then assaulted the resident with a handgun, but the resident was able to escape and call police. Police said they're following up on suspects and believe the incident may have been drug-related.

Suspect robs woman at gunpoint

Someone walked up to a woman inside her vehicle, pointed a handgun at her and stole her purse in the 7300 block of Eden Brook Road around 8 p.m. on Jan. 3.

Rock used to enter home, jewelry stolen

Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of Cloudy April Way after someone broke a side window with a rock to enter the residence around 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Game console stolen

Someone cut the screen and forced open an apartment window in the 7500 block of Monarch Mills and stole a game system sometime between Dec. 28 and Dec. 31.

Shoes and electronics stolen

Shoes and electronics were stolen from a residence in the 6100 block of Turnabout Lane sometime between Dec. 27 and Dec. 30 after someone entered the apartment through an unlocked bedroom window.

Bicycle stolen from unlocked garage

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage at a residence in the 9500 block of Pamplona Road during the afternoon of Dec. 28.

Whiteacre Road residence burglarized

Someone entered an apartment in the 9600 block of Whiteace Road between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 29 and stole jewelry and a wallet containing credit cards.

Bagel Bin burglary

Someone broke into the Bagel Bin in the 6000 block of Daybreak Circle sometime between Jan. 1 - 2 and stole cash. Police reported the lock on the rear door was broken.

Elkridge


Armed gas station robbery

Police said a man displayed a handgun and stole money from a Shell Gas Station in the 8700 block of Washington Blvd. around 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 5. Police described the suspect as a black male with a light complexion in his early 20s, about 6-foot, 170 pounds with a thin build.

Warehouse broken into, adjoining business burglarized

After breaking into a vacant warehouse, someone forced entry into Shearer Logistics in the 7000 block of Troy Hill Drive around 11 p.m. on Dec. 27 and stole multiple flat screen TVs. A truck was also stolen from the parking lot.

One block over, three days later, Unitec Electronic burglarized

A block over from Shearer Electronics, Unitec Electronics, at 7100 Troy Hill Drive, was burglarized around 5:25 a.m. on Dec. 30. It's unknown what was stolen. The front door of the business was smashed to gain entry.

Jewelry stolen

Someone pried open the front door of a residence in the 6500 block of Vert Drive and stole jewelry during the day on Dec. 27.

Stereo equipment stolen

Someone broke the front window of a residence in the 9800 block of Washington Blvd. and stole stereo equipment around 3 a.m. on Jan. 3.

Purse catburglary

A victim's purse was stolen from her while she was home after someone forced open the patio door to her residence in the 6300 block of Greenfield Road overnight on Jan. 1.
