Second Refrigerator Theft in a Week: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Mt. Airy: Break-In

Between 10:30 a.m. and 3:37 p.m. on August 9, an unknown number of suspects forced open a side door of a residence on the 1100 block of Ridge Road, stealing two laptops, a projector, television, two jars of coins and cash.

Columbia: Robbery

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. on August 10, an unknown suspect approached a victim near the 5900 block of Turnabout Lane, assaulted him, demanded valuables and fled.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on August 9, an unknown number of suspects entered a construction site on the 10700 block of McGregor Drive and stole a refrigerator.

Columbia: Commercial Break-In

Shortly before 5 p.m. on August 9, an unknown number of suspects entered Tennis Bubble, on the 7000 block of Cradlerock Way, and slept in an unsecured storage area. Police did not locate the suspect.
