Robbery in Elkridge, Burglaries in Ellicott City, Columbia: Howard County Crime Roundup
The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Ellicott City: Burglary
Copper wire was stolen from a construction site on the 5900 block of Logans Way. The suspect or suspects got inside through an unlocked garage door. The burglary happened sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 29.

A person was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning in a motel parking lot on the 6100 block of Washington Boulevard.
The victim was approached by two men, who displayed a gun, demanded valuables, and got away with a cell phone, jewelry an car keys. The suspects fled on foot toward Bonnie View Lane.

One suspect was described as 6-feet, medium build, and wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was described as 6-feet, medium build, and wearing a white T-shirt.
The robbery was reported at 3:16 a.m.
Columbia: Burglary
Jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence on the 6400 block of Windharp Way. The home was also ransacked. The suspect or suspects got inside after breaking a rear window. The burglary happened sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Columbia: Burglary
A camera was stolen from a residence on the 6300 block of Windharp Way. The suspect or suspects broke a window of a shed, went inside the shed and stole a ladder from within, then used the ladder to get inside the home through an unlocked window. The burglary happened sometime between 9:10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Columbia: Break-in (with arrests)
Two teenage boys were arrested following a break-in on the 5400 block of Stormdrift. The suspects allegedly got inside through a pet door but set off a security alarm. Officers arrested them as they were leaving the home. One suspect is a 15-year-old from Columbia, while the other is a 15-year-old from Elkridge. Both are being charged as juveniles. The break-in was reported at 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Columbia: Burglary
Jewelry, coins and a gun were stolen from a home on the 5000 block of Durham Road West. The suspect or suspects got inside after breaking a glass panel in a rear door, then reaching inside and unlocking the door. The burglary happened sometime between 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, and 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Woodbine: Burglary
A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in a fenced-in yard on the 2400 block of Route 97. The theft was reported at 3:08 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Columbia, Laurel: Vehicle thefts
- Columbia: A purple 1996 Acura Integra with Maryland license plate HEF289 was stolen from the 5900 block of Cedar Lane. It was reported stolen at 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
- Laurel: A tan 1999 Ford Explorer with Maryland license plate 5AF1490 was stolen from the 9900 block of Washington Boulevard. It was reported stolen at 12:01 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29.
