Two men robbed a person at gunpoint in an Ellicott City this weekend and then forced someone else to drive them along Baltimore National Pike, according to police.
The victim was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle with friends in a parking lot on the 8400 block of Baltimore National Pike on Saturday at about 6:30 p.m., according to police, when two unknown men came out from a nearby wooded area.
Police said the men got into the back seat of the car, showed a gun and demanded valuables from the suspect, who complied, turning over cash, a cell phone and a knife.
According to police, the suspects then forced the car's driver to drive them to a different location on Baltimore National Pike, where they fled the vehicle.
Police spokeswoman Elizabeth Schroen said that the suspects got out of the car in Catonsville. Schroen said police will not release more detailed information because the location is something known to only the victims and suspect and may aid in the investigation.
Police say the first suspect was a black man with black hair and brown eyes. He had a thin build and was tall, wearing a gray sweater, a beanie and blue jeans.
Police say the second suspect was a white man with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. He had a thick build, was tall and wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and a beanie.
