Robberies in Ellicott City, Columbia: Howard County Crime Roundup

COMPILED FROM THE DAILY POLICE BULLETIN... ELLICOTT CITY: ROBBERY

A man in his car was the victim of a robbery Thursday evening on the 3200 block of Corporate Court. The two suspects "confronted the victim" at about 7 p.m., assaulting him and stealing cash, alcohol and drugs, police said.

No further information was available.

Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a pair of people Thursday night in the 5600 block of Stevens Forest Road. The victims were in a parking lot at about 11:50 p.m. when the suspects approached them and implied that they had a weapon. The suspects fled on foot, making off with a wallet, a cell phone and car keys.

The suspects were described as being between 18 and 20 years old and wearing all black clothing.

Cigarettes were stolen following a burglary at the Exxon gas station on the 9200 block of All Saints Road. The suspect or suspects got inside after breaking a glass front door. The burglary was reported at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 3.

Nothing was reported stolen following a break-in on the 13500 block of Broccolino Way. The suspect or suspects entered by forcing open a rear basement door, but fled after the resident returned home. The break-in was reported at 6:34 p.m on Thursday, March 3.

A television and jewelry were stolen following a burglary on the 2500 block of Thompson Drive. The suspect or suspects entered through an unlocked front door. The burglary happened sometime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 3.

- Columbia: A tan 2001 Nissan Altima with Maryland license plate JZX750 was stolen from the 9400 block of Granite Hill. It was reported stolen at 7:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 3.

- Columbia: A black 2000 Honda Civic was stolen from the 12000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway. It was stolen sometime between 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, and 11 a.m on Thursday, March 3.

- Elkridge: A blue Honda Accord with Georgia license plate AFI14862 was stolen from the 6700 block of Old Waterloo Road. It was stolen sometime between 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, and 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 3.

- Ellicott City: A white 2006 Suzuki GSXR600 with California license plate 18P9348 was stolen from the 8400 block of Oakton Lane. It was stolen sometime between Tuesday, March 1, and Thursday, March 3.
