Robber Flees 7-11 After Finding Little Cash: Howard County Crime Roundup
The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Elkridge: Commercial Robbery
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Dec. 11, an unknown suspect approached the clerk at the 7-11 on the 6500 block of Old Waterloo Road, displayed a gun and demanded cash. The clerk showed the suspect how empty the register was, and the suspect fled on foot without taking any cash.
Glenelg: Home Invasion
Shortly after 7 p.m. on Dec. 11, three unknown suspects confronted a victim at a residence on the 13700 block of Triadelphia Road, displayed a gun and demanded cash from a safe. The victim complied and the suspects tied up the suspect before fleeing on foot.
Columbia: Commercial Break-In
Shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, an unknown number of suspects broke side windows of Dick's Sporting Goods, on the 6200 block of Columbia Crossing Circle, and stole clothing.
Columbia: Commercial Break-In
Shortly after 3:20 a.m. on Dec. 10, an unknown number of suspects pried open the rear door of Cradlerock Mart, on the 6800 block of Cradlerock Way, stealing cash and a computer.
Sykesville: Break-In
Between 6:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, an unknown number of suspects broke a basement window and entered a residence on the 1100 block of Underwood Road, stealing a jar of loose change.
Clarksville: Break-In
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, an unknown number of suspects broke a rear glass door and entered a residence on the 12800 block of Macbeth Farm Lane, stealing a safe containing cash, jewelry and other collectibles.
Clarksville: Break-In
Between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, an unknown number of suspects broke a rear glass door and entered a residence on the 7100 block of Moorland Drive, ransacking the residence and stealing cash and jewelry.
Clarksville: Break-In Attempt
Between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 10, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter a residence on the 6900 block of Sandy Spring Lane by breaking a rear glass door, but failed to gain entry.
Columbia: Vehicle Theft
Shortly after 2 p.m. on Dec. 10, a vehicle was taken from a residence on the 9200 block of Rumsey Road and returned to the same location with damage to the windshield and tires, as well as deployed airbags.
Elkridge: Vehicle Theft
Shortly after 5 p.m. on Dec. 10, a blue 1994 Toyota Camry with MD tags 38279CC was stolen from a residence on the 6600 block of Aspern Drive.
Ellicott City: Vehicle Theft
Shortly before midnight on Dec. 10, a silver 2001 Chrysler Town and Country with FL tags AHSA65 was stolen from a residence on the 4400 block of Long Gate Parkway.
