Quiet in Ellicott City: Howard County Crime Roundup

No significant police activity was reported in Ellicott City in the past two days, but that wasn't the case in Columbia and surrounding areas.

COMPILED FROM THE DAILY POLICE BULLETIN... LONG REACH: BURGLARY

Jewelry and coins were stolen from a residence on the 5500 block of Thurso Court. The suspect or suspects entered after prying a rear window. The burglary happened sometime between 6:10 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.

OAKLAND MILLS: BURGLARY

Property was taken from a residence on the 9600 block of Basket Ring Road. A known suspect entered by using a key, then vandalized the residence and stole property. The burglary happened sometime between 6:20 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

LAUREL: BURGLARY

A television was stolen from a residence on the 9200 block of Livery Lane. The suspect or suspects entered through an unlocked front window. The burglary happened sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

HICKORY RIDGE: VEHICLE THEFT

A 2006 Toyota Highlander with Maryland license plate 62926CD was stolen from the 6000 block of Cloudland Court. The vehicle was stolen sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 6:39 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.

HICKORY RIDGE: VEHICLE THEFT

A silver 1999 Honda Civic with Maryland license plate 5AB6462 was stolen from the 11500 block of Little Patuxent Parkway. The vehicle was stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

DORSEY'S SEARCH: VEHICLE THEFT

A green 1999 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the 5100 block of Columbia Road. The  vehicle was reported stolen at 9:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

JESSUP: VEHICLE THEFT

A trailer was stolen from the 7400 block of Conowingo Avenue. It was reported stolen at 12:36 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

LAUREL: VEHICLE THEFT attempt

A suspect or suspects attempted to steal a green 1998 Ford Expedition from the 9200 block of Bridle Path Lane. The attempted vehicle theft was reported at 9:05 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.
