Howard County Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing Jessup man who lives on the 8300 block of Firewood Court.
Police say Benigno Ortiz Santos, 81, has dementia and may be disoriented or confused. His family last saw Santos at 8:30 a.m. Monday, when a relative came home to find the front door open and Santos gone.

Santos is probably on foot, police said, and likely not carrying a cell phone or any identification. He speaks limited English and fluent Spanish and may be able to answer to his name.
Santos' picture is attached; he is about 5 feet 2 inches tall with gray hair, hazel eyes and olive skin. He was last seen wearing a cream-colored long-sleeved shirt and gray slacks. He may also be wearing glasses.
Police are asking anyone who has seen Santos to call 9-1-1.
