Ellicott City

Residential Burglary – Furrow Avenue

An 48-year-old Ellicott City man was arrested after he allegedly kicked in a neighbor’s garage door in the 9400 block of Furrow Avenue, then stole the neighbor’s phone amid of a verbal argument around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 19. The man was charged with third- and fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property.

Residential Burglary – Mount Hebron Drive

Jewelry and a safe containing documents were stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Mount Hebron Drive after someone kicked in a side door, breaking the door frame, on the morning of Feb. 21.

Residential Burglary – Normandy Drive

A basement door was kicked in at a residence in the 2900 block of Normandy Drive and an iPad and jewelry were stolen sometime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Feb. 21.

Residential Burglary – Victoria Drive

The entire residence was ransacked. Two handguns, cash, change, jewelry, a laptop, a birth certificate and a social security card were stolen after someone gained entry to a residence in the 9100 block of Victoria Drive through a kitchen window sometime between Feb. 16 and Feb. 20.

Armed Robbery – Oakland Mills Road

Two masked men, one armed with a handgun, the other with a knife, entered the Pizza Boli's at 7060 Oakland Mills Road and ordered the employees to get to the ground and empty their pockets. The two men removed cash from the register, took cash from employees and cut phone lines before fleeing through a side door. Police described one suspect as black, about 20 years old, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-2, with an average build, wearing a dark jacket, gloves, a black mask and carrying a handgun. The second suspect was described as a black male, about 20 years old, with an average build, between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot, carrying a large knife.

Robbery – Stevens Forest Road

Multiple unknown persons assaulted an adult male, striking him in the head, and stole the man’s wallet, eyeglasses, keys and cell phone around 11:30 a.m. in the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road on Feb. 21.

Residential Burglary – Knighthood Lane

An iPhone charger and an electronic gaming system were stolen from a residence in the 7000 block of Knighthood Lane after someone broke the glass on a rear slider to gain entry between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 19

Residential Burglary – Loudon Avenue

Someone broke a window pane out of a rear basement door, then reached in to unlock the deadbolt to gain entry to a residence in the 6300 block of Loudon Avenue. Jewelry and an e-reader were stolen from the residence sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 19.

County-wide Vehicle Thefts

A 2008 black Suzuki Hayabusa was reported stolen in the 8100 block of Washingon Boulevard on Feb. 20.

A 2008 silver Dodge Magnum was recovered by police in Anne Arundel County after it was reported stolen in the 9300 block of North Laurel Road on Feb. 14

A 2008 yellow International truck was reported stolen from Penske in the 8200 block of Patuxent Range Road on Feb. 18.

A 2008 silver Nissan Altima was reported stolen in the 9600 block of Basket Ring Road on Feb. 19.
