Residential Burglary – Ashley Court

An unknown person broke a window in the basement door of a residence on the 4500 block of Ashley Court to enter and then ransacked bedrooms stealing jewelry, cash, electronic gaming equipment, a laptop and a gift card sometime on Feb. 13.

Residential Burglary – Rocky Glen Way

Jewelry, a purse and a Bose stereo were stolen and bedrooms were ransacked at a residence in the 2700 block of Rocky Glen Way. A small window to the front door was broken and the deadbolt unlocked to gain entry.

Residential Burglary – Chapel Avenue

A rear window was pried open to gain entry to a residence in the 8900 block of Chapel Avenue sometime between Feb. 5 and Feb. 12, but it’s unknown if any property was taken.

Robbery – Marble Faun Lane

A man was approached by three men near the 10500 block of Marble Faun Lane and one of the men offered to buy the man’s shoes. When the man bent down to remove his shoes, the other men pushed him down, punched and kicked him, and ultimately stole his shoes around 4 p.m. on Feb. 13.

Vandalism/ Breaking and Entering – Bare Bush Path

A front door was kicked in, causing damage to the door frame, although nothing was stolen from a residence in the 1220 block of Bare Bush Path between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Feb. 13

Commercial Burglary – Benjamin Franklin Drive

The lock on a storage container was cut off and 24 feet of copper were stolen from Kinsley Construction in the 6800 block of Benjamin Franklin Drive overnight on Feb. 11.

Residential Burglary – Tufted Moss

A side garage door was broken to gain entry and two cars were ransacked inside the garage, although nothing was reported stolen from a residence in the 6200 block of Tufted Moss overnight on Feb. 10.

Residential Burglary – Knighthood Lane

There were no signs of forced entry, but a rear slider was found unlocked and various electronic gaming items and tools were stolen from a residence in the 7000 block of Knighthood Lane sometime during the day on Feb. 11.

Elkridge

Robbery – Deep Run Parkway

Four males assaulted another male and stole money around 7:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of Deep Run Pkwy. Police reported the incident stemmed from a drug deal and are investigating.

Commercial Burglary – Montgomery Road

A fence and plastic sheeting were cut through to gain entry to Neu Valley Nursery in the 7200 block of Montgomery Rd, but nothing was stolen overnight on Feb. 10.

Commercial Burglary – Kit Kat Road

The lock on wooden sliding doors was damaged and tools were stolen from Peak Inc. sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11.

Breaking and Entering Attempt – Old Waterloo Road

A man returned home to his apartment in the 6700 block of Waterloo Rd, and heard a noise coming from around the corner. When he investigated he saw a man attempting to pull the screen off the window and then the man fled at 12:09 a.m. on Feb. 12.

Jessup

Commercial Burglary – Washington Boulevard

Approximately 100 catalytic converters were stolen from a container that had a disabled car purposefully parked in front of it to prevent theft at Crazy Ray’s junkyard in the 8100 block of Washington Blvd overnight on Feb. 11. Access to the business was gained, despite a locked gate, and the disabled car was moved, although there was no evidence of forced entry.

Commercial Burglary – Dorsey Run Road

The lock on the main gate of Hanson Concrete in the 7900 block of Dorsey Run Road was cut off and forklift batteries and copper was stolen from a tool shed overnight on Feb. 11.

Glenwood

Residential Burglary – Roxbury Meadow Drive

A microwave and dishwasher were stolen from a residence that was still under construction in the 14300 block of Roxbury Meadow Drive sometime between Feb. 8 and Feb. 12.

West Friendship

Residential Burglary – Pfefferkorn Road

A safe containing U.S. currency, documents and costume jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 2500 block of Pfefferkorn Road after someone gained entry by prying open a rear door between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.
