Mixing Board Stolen From Ellicott City Home: Howard County Crime Reports

A home in Elkridge was burglarized twice over the weekend, according to police. All information provided was by the Howard County police Department.

Ellicott City

Residential burglary

Someone stole a Peavey USB mixing board from a home office in the 9900 block of Whitworth Way. The door may have been unlocked.

Residential burglary

A motorcycle, MD tag D49124, was stolen from an unsecured garage in the 9100 block of Sybert Drive Aug. 24.

Elkridge

Residential burglary

The first burglary at a home in the 6900 block of Washington Boulevard left the victim’s nursery heavily ransacked. The second burglary occurred Aug. 22. When the victim returned home, he found two chain-link swinging fences and 10-12 office chairs missing. A broken window from the prior burglary was the point of entry again.

Residential burglary

The interior of a home in the 5800 block of Woodvalley Road was ransacked Aug. 22. Also, a significant amount of quarters were stolen. Although a rear basement door was found ajar, there were no signs of forced entry.

Indecent exposure

A man at Rockburn Park in Elkridge told officers that he was riding his bicycle on one of the trails Aug. 22 when he saw a man with his hands down his pants making lewd gestures. The man’s zipper was down, he said, and a second man was watching him.

Residential burglary

Someone entered a home in the 6200 block of Old Washington Road through an unsecured window Aug. 25. The burglar damaged a screen door, ransacked several rooms and stole pills and coins.

Residential burglary

Four bikes were stolen after a garage was left open overnight Aug. 21 in the 5900 block of Bright Flow Mews. One bike was recovered at the cul-de-sac, and the other three were recovered on Fall Moon.


Residential burglary

Someone broke a padlock on the door of an apartment Aug. 22 in the 5200 block of Rivendell, before entering and stealing property. The apartment was unoccupied due to a recent fire.


Attempted burglary

Someone cut screens to two lower-level windows of a residence in the 6100 block of Quiet Times Aug. 22. One window glass was shattered.


Residential burglary

Someone entered a second floor apartment on Aug. 23 or Aug. 24 in the 9000 block of Gracious End Court. The burglar cut a screen, shattered a window, and stole computers, watches, basketball shoes, jeans and shorts.


Residential burglary

A computer, a ring, and a camera were stolen from a home in the 11000 block of Swansfield Road Aug. 25. The burglar entered through an unsecured side window.


Vehicle theft

A gray Mazda 3 was stolen from the 5776 block of Stevens Forest Road Aug. 22.

A light green Ford Expedition was stolen Aug. 25 in the 8200 block of Columbia Overlook Drive. Tags are MD 33196M9.


Vehicle Theft

A black Toyota Corolla was stolen Aug. 23 in the 7500 block of Murray Hill Road. Tags are MD 5AJ5060.

Fulton

Burglary at a construction site

Elevator weights and four spools of copper elevator wire were stolen from Otis Elevators at a building under construction in the 8100 block of Maple Lawn Boulevard.


Clarksville

Residential burglary

A residence in the 7500 block of Flamewood Drive was ransacked Aug. 23, with coins and jewelry stolen, after the rear door was pried open.
