Lo-Jack Saves Car, But Not Wallet: Howard County Crime Roundup

Robbery
A woman was approached by two men. One displayed a gun and demanded the woman's vehicle. The woman told the men the vehicle was equipped with a Lo-Jack tracking device and then the men demanded her wallet and cell phone, which she gave them. The incident happened near the intersection of Murray Hill Road and Rainflower Way on May 14 at about midnight. Police described the suspects as follows:

- Suspect 1: A Hispanic male, 25 - 30 years old, about 5-foot-6 wearing black pants and a red hoodie.
- Suspect 2: A black male, 25 - 30 years old, taller than 5-foot-6, 140 pounds, wearing blue jeans and a gray and red hoodie.

A man coming from a check cashing business was being driven by an acquaintance when he was dropped off at his home. Shortly after, another vehicle pulled up and a passenger exited. The passenger and driver of the car assaulted the man and took his wallet, cell phone and keys, then drove off. The incident occurred in the 6700 block of Pirch Way around 5 p.m. on May 15.

An iPad, camera and video game system were stolen from a residence in the 9400 block of Falling Waters sometime on May 15. A garage and interior door were found unsecured.

Residential burglary
A detached garage was entered and a woman's purse was removed from an unlocked vehicle. Inside, two video game systems were stolen after someone gained entry through an unlocked slider sometime overnight on May 8 - 9 in the 6800 block of Carlinda Ave.
