Man Passed Note, Robbed Bank on Frederick Road: Police

Detectives are looking for help identifying a suspected bank robber.

The suspect entered the M&T Bank in the 700 block of Frederick Road in Catonsville recently and handed the teller a note that said he had a gun, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23, according to police. 

The man, who had long chin hair, was described as 25 to 35 years old, 5’7” to 5’8” and 150 to 160 pounds, police said. He was wearing a Baltimore Orioles hat, sunglasses, gray Champion sweatshirt, camouflage shorts and white tennis shoes, according to police.

Detectives are still working to determine who the man is, and qualifying tips may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
