Indecent Exposure in Ellicott City, Robbery in Elkridge: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Elkridge: Commercial Robbery

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, an unknown suspect approached an employee at the register of Elkridge Liquors, on the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard, displayed a gun  and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled. Police said the incident is being investigated as possibly related to another recent robbery at the location. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information. A photo of the suspect accompanies this article.

Ellicott City: Indecent Exposure

Shortly after 11 a.m. on Nov. 5, an unknown suspect was witnessed exposing himself near a path on the 10000 block of Clarksville Pike.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between Nov. 4 and Nov. 7, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence under construction on the 4600 block of Sheppard Manor Lane and stole building supplies.

Ellicott City: Break-In Attempt

Shortly before 8 p.m. on Nov. 7, a break-in attempt was reported at a residence on the 3800 block of Chatham Road.

Ellicott City: Vehicle Theft

Between 9 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 6:54 p.m. the following day, a 1980 boat and trailer were stolen from a residence on the 3400 block of Court House Drive.

Ellicott City: Break-In Attempt

Between 11 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 4 p.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter the front door of a residence on the 4800 block of Montgomery Road, but failed to gain entry.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 4100 block of Old Columbia Pike and stole cash.

Elkridge: Break-In

Between Nov. 3 and Nov. 7, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence under construction on the 6700 block of Montgomery Road, stealing copper wire and piping.

Elkridge: Break-In

Between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 4, an unknown number of suspects forced open a side door of a residence on the 5700 block of Main Street. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

Columbia: Indecent Exposure

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Nov. 5, a suspect was observed exposing himself in the stairwell of a building on the 10100 block of Windstream Drive.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Shortly before noon on Nov. 5, a 2006 Toyota Corolla with MD tags 6BWJ38 was stolen from a residence on the 11900 block of Blue February Way.

Columbia: Break-In

Between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 7, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road, stealing two laptops and hard drives.

Columbia: Break-In Attempt

Shortly before 4 a.m. on Nov. 5, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter the rear door of a residence on the 8900 block of Lee Manor Drive, but failed to gain entry.

Columbia: Burglary

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Nov. 4, an unknown number of suspects removed glass from the basement door of a residence on the 10200 block of Dottys Way, stealing a television and video game system.

Columbia: Break-In

Between Oct. 10 and Nov. 5, a known suspect entered a residence on the 10200 block of Hickory Ridge Road with a key and stole a television and jewelry.

Columbia: Break-In

Shortly before 10 a.m. on Nov. 6, an unknown number of suspects entered the detached shed of a residence on the 6300 block of Barefoot Boy and stole lawn equipment.

Columbia: Construction Break-In

Between 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 7:10 a.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects entered a construction trailer on the 5700 block of Oakland Mills Road and stole office and building supplies.

Savage: Break-In

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, a break-in was reported at a residence on the 8800 block of Howard Hills Drive.

Laurel: Robbery

Shortly after 3 a.m. on Nov. 5, an unknown suspect approached a victim at a mailbox near the intersection of Center Street and Cross Street, threatened the victim with a sharp object and stole a wallet. The suspect fled toward Washington Boulevard.

Woodstock: Commercial Break-In

Shortly after 4 a.m. on Nov. 8, an unknown number of suspects broke a front glass door of Eagle Pharmacy, on the 2400 block of Longstone Lane, and stole medication.

Jessup: Commercial Break-In Attempt

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Nov. 6, a break-in attempt was reported at Mission Place Apartments, on the 8100 block of Washington Boulevard.
