Ellicott City Teen Faces Attempted Murder Charges

Police say the teenager shot a student during an attempted robbery.

An Ellicott City teenager has been charged as an adult in last week’s shooting of a Morgan State student, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Brandon Rickman White, 17, of Orange Grove Court, faces attempted murder charges, as well as assault, armed robbery and firearm charges, according to court records.  

Baltimore County Police said White and a 16-year-old from Pikesville were attempting to rob the victim, 21-year-old Ian Holland of Baltimore, in Millford Mill on Wednesday, the Sun reported.

According to published reports, Holland is in critical condition at University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma Center.
