Ellicott City Residential Break-in: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between 10:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Feb. 6, an unknown number of suspects pried open the front door of a residence on the 3300 block of North Chatham Road, stealing clothing and cash.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Shortly before 10 a.m. on Feb. 3, a blue and white Suzuki GSXR750 was stolen from the 6700 block of Old Waterloo Road.

Columbia: Robbery

At 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 3, two unknown suspects approached a victim who was playing football near the 5000 block of Cedar Lane, assaulted the victim, stole the football and fled.

Columbia: Break-In

Between 6 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 4, an unknown number of suspects forced open the front door of a residence on the 10300 block of Hickory Ridge Road and stole a safe containing documents.

Columbia: Break-In

On Jan. 14, an unknown number of suspects entered a residence on the 5000 block of Green Mountain Circle, stealing liquor and checks.

Columbia: Break-In

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Feb. 4, an unknown suspect broke a window and entered a residence on the 6500 block of Freetown Road. Police located the suspect in the residence.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Feb. 3, a 2002 Ford Explorer with CA tags was stolen from the 5500 block of Phelps Luck Drive.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

Shortly before noon on Feb. 6, a white 2006 Chevrolet Express with MD tags 7AC0500 was stolen from a residence on the 9000 block of Snowden River Parkway.

Jessup: Vehicle Theft

Shortly after 3 p.m. on Feb. 5, a vehicle was stolen from the 8200 block of Patuxent Range Road.

North Laurel: Commercial Break-In

Shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 4, an unknown number of suspects broke a rear window of Sam and Elsie's Bar, on the 9900 block of Washington Boulevard, and stole cash from a game machine.
