Ellicott City Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash
Jong Han Lee, 32, hit a tree and his vehicle flipped on Old Frederick Road, according to police.
Police said speed was a factor in a crash that left an Ellicott City man dead Sunday morning.
After midnight, Jong Han Lee, 32, of Bethany Lane in Ellicott City, was driving east on Old Frederick Road at Weatherstone Drive when his car struck a tree to the right of the roadway, said police.
According to a statement from Howard County Police Department, Lee was partially ejected from his Nissan 370Z, which overturned at approximately 12:43 a.m. Police said he was declared dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Lee was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt, said police. The incident remains under investigation.
