Ellicott City Break-ins and Burglaries

Four homes in Ellicott City have been burglarized in the past week, according to the Howard County Police.

On Tuesday, May 29, police say a house was broken into through a back basement window on the 2200 block of Mt. Hebron Drive sometime between 1 and 4:15 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 30, the basement door of a house was kicked in on the 9000 block of Tiber Ridge Court sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to police. A television and a laptop were stolen.

The same day, police say copper tubing and fittings were stolen from a garage on the 9900 block of Old Mill Road. Police said they have a suspect in the case.

Sometime between late night Thursday May 31, and Friday morning, alcohol was stolen from a garage on the 9700 block of Starling Road.

Between Friday and Saturday a house on the 5000 block of Brampton Parkway was burglarized. Money was stolen from a wallet and a purse, according to police.
