Elkridge Robbery and Ellicott City Break-in: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Ellicott City: Break-In

Between 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 6:40 a.m. the following day, an unknown number of suspects entered the garage of a residence on the 4000 block of Pebble Branch Road and stole items from a vehicle.

Elkridge: Robbery

Shortly before midnight on Oct. 26, an unknown suspect approached an employee at a register in the Exxon on the 6000 block of Marshalee Drive, announced the robbery and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot. Police said no weapons were observed.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Shortly after 11 p.m. on Oct. 25, a black 1986 Honda V45 with MD tags was stolen from a residence on the 7700 block of Washington Boulevard.

Columbia: Break-In Attempt

Between Oct. 18 and Oct. 25, an unknown number of suspects attempted to enter a residence on the 6300 block of Daring Prince Way by tampering with a window screen and rear door, but failed to gain entry.

Columbia: Break-In

At 3 a.m. on Oct. 27, a known suspect entered the window of a residence on the 7500 block of Weather Worn Way, assaulted the resident and stole a wallet and keys. Officers arrested the Columbia man and charged him with first-, third- and fourth degree burglary, second-degree assault and theft.

Glenelg: Construction Break-In

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Oct. 26, an unknown number of suspects cut a fence of DJR Signal Service, on the 3800 block of Ten Oaks Road, entered a trailer and stole cables.
