Driver Ticketed after Crash with Ellicott City Cyclist
After an accident left an Ellicott City student in the hospital, the driver who struck him is issued two tickets.
The 83-year-old driver who struck and injured a 20-year-old Ellicott City cyclist has been issued two traffic citations, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Nathan Krasnopoler, a student at Johns Hopkins University, is not expected to recover after the Feb. 26 accident. He has been in a coma, and doctors say he is not expected to recover fully.
Jeannette Marie Walke, 83, was cited for negligent driving and failure to yield the right-of-way to a bicyclist in a designated bike lane. She will not face criminal charges.
