Crews Fight Sunday Night Fire in Ellicott City

All residents were safe, but displaced, according to a spokesperson.

Fire crews knocked down a one-alarm fire in Ellicott City Friday night, according to a spokesperson. 

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services (HCDFRS) responded to the fire, on the 3000 block of Mullineaux Lane, at about 10 p.m., according to HCDFRS spokesperson Jacqueline Cutler.

At about 10:45 p.m., Cutler said all of the residents were out of the house and safe. The American Red Cross was also on the scene to help find residents a place to stay, Cutler said.

As of 10:45 p.m., the fire was under control, but firefighters were still on the scene.
