2 People Rescued in Crash Near Montgomery Road: Officials

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported the individuals had been trapped.

Two people were treated for minor injuries as the result of a crash on Montgomery Road at Waterloo Road in Ellicott City Thursday afternoon, officials said.

Just before 4:30 p.m., the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported that at least one person was trapped in a vehicle that had crashed on Montgomery Road at MD Route 104/Waterloo Road.

By 4:36 p.m., the department said two people had been rescued from the vehicle.

Both individuals had minor injuries, the department reported. They were taken for medical treatment, officials said at 4:45 p.m., and rescue personnel were clearing the scene.

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services encouraged drivers to slow down and be extra cautious on the roads due to showers.
